Allen Porter also had (at least) 2 sons - James & John. Both were born in New Castle, New Hampshire and settled in Hardwick Vermont(?). John had a daughter Mary who married Jacob Horace GRAHAM [Source 130]
Wife was living in New Castle with 5 children in 1860 and she died there on April 1, 1906 [Source 130].
She remarried to someone with the last name of Jenkins and they lived in Newcastle with her daughter Alice A. C. TREFETHEN0373 and Ida Jenkins. [Source 130]
(1850 New Castle Census has him as a Shoemaker, born in New Hampshire - probably a different Albert)
One Source [Source 130] says he died by drowning - no reference given. He’s buried in New Castle.
