bessie marie was my mother. she married march 14, 1937 in somesworth, N.h. to John joseph barrett (OR BARRET) she was 38 at that time at least that is what the marriage certif says.
i was born Elizabeth c. barrett on aug 19, 1937. in concord, ma. i was married to a carleton carpenter from wayland mass. in april 0f 1958. we had two children. gregory otis, born sept 9, 1961, natick Massachusetts. dawn Elizabeth, born may 27, 1969. natick, Massachusetts. both children were adopted by my second husband in 1974. his name is robert allen parker.

one son is listed under children edwin f trefren jr. died nov 20,1974. he was 78 he was my uncle.
the captain also had three daughters izette h. trefren born 23 April 1897, died oct 5, 1918, bessie m. trefren (barrett) died 28 April 1953, birth date of 1899 irene mae trefren/richards/price died may 19,1971, irene mae had one son george wellington richards, birth date? he is still living but may he around 80. bessie m. had one daughter. Elizabeth celina barrett born aug 19, 1937. that is me.
